About the Writer
So, If we have never met before… my name is Liz Campbell, I am an Australian, married to a Brit, living in Jamaica. It’s a long story (my husband is writing it).
We live here in Jamaica where my husband established a small charity/mission which walks alongside children, youth and their families in underprivileged inner-city communities. If you want more information about the work my husband and I are involved in here in Jamaica head to our website: Home.
As for me, I spend my days homeschooling our two delightful Australian-British-Jamaican children, writing, doing housework, assisting in charity work, doing more housework, writing, doing more housework and falling into bed too late at night after writing for too long. I post some of the other writing I do on my personal blog site seeingbreathingliving .
I love writing. I particularly love to write true stories because ‘to speak a true word is to transform the world’*. But the story I love the most is the one true story underneath every other true story… this story of how God left behind heaven to come to this beautiful broken world to find each one of us. This site you are on, ‘The Long Walk…’, is dedicated solely to this story. I hope it blesses you in any small way that it can.
