Merry Christmas

Well Christmas day has lit it’s way around our spinning globe and now we wake to the sleepy remainder of Christmas week giving way to anticipation of a new year emerging.

Thank you for taking time to walk through the Christmas story with me this season.

For a little while this corner of the internet will now fall silent.

My prayer for you, that I have prayed as you read (when you were able) this story of Christ’s arrival on earth, is that boxing day would find you wanting more. More of Him. More time in His story. And that the wanting would encourage you to seek Him out as the Magi did. To search for this baby born King over all the earth.

But even as my letters to you now slow down, don’t let your search for Him slow. Rather, speed up your search,  your wanting, your reaching, your prioritising of time in His story. Because the promise God once whispered to an Israel in exile is true for each of us exiled in our rush,

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13

Let’s keep seeking Him. This baby born King. The Lord of Heaven and earth.

Christmas Blessings, from my family to yours!

Liz
